Su-Mi and Su-Yeon, two teenage sisters, come back home. Their stepmother welcome them, but Su-Mi avoids her, and Su-Yeon seems to be scared of her. Little by little, some arguings start to be there between the stepmother and the two sisters. Also, some strange events start to occur in the house. The stepmother's birds die. The stepmother thinks these events are there because of the girls, so she starts to be violent against Su-Yeon, the youngest of the two sisters. My opinion : This is a movie I really love! (yes I love horror movies!) but this is not like other horror movies. This is one of a kind. This is not just a simple story where each character gets killed and so on... No... If you watch the movie until the end, you'll see it's a very complicated movie, with complicated story plot. Lot of people didn't understand the movie. It's at the ending that you understand everything. (but shhhh I won't tell more!) Anyways, if you saw the movie and didn't understand the plot, you can always search the explanation on the Internet! This movie is mind-blowing! Not only by its plot, but also by its touch of drama, sadness and poetic vibe (Yes! Poetic and sadness in a horror movie!) The acting, the high visual quality... I recommand this movie. This horror movie is not like other horror movies, it doesn't add lame blood or gore, it has a story plot, a sadness and touching/poetic vibe to it, a deep and detailed psychological view of the characters, it is a very smart and artistic movie. One of a kind.
