Yui, an elementary school teacher, enters the house of parents of Toshio, an elementary school kid who has been missing for several months.
The teacher meets Kayako, Toshio's mother. That woman acts very oddly and strange. After leaving that house and coming back home, the teacher starts to experience weird things. Some highschool girls want to be scared for fun, so they go to that house, after hearing that the house is supposedly HAUNTED. But they don't take it seriously, they just wanna have fun and having adrenaline rush when entering that house. After leaving the house, the girls start to experience strange things too, just like the teacher. It seems that anyone who enters that house, gets cursed, and can't get rid of that curse.

My opinion: Here's another great scary asian horror movie! This one is very spooky, especially the following scene:
When the teacher enters the house of Toshio's parents, to check if everything is okay. The famous Kayako woman, appears out of nowhere and greets the teacher. Her skin tone is pale, she has very long black hair, and very long dress, so long that we don't see her feets when she's walking, which gives the impression that she "floats" in the air, like a ghost.
Plus, her behaviour is strange, and her vocal tone is always the same, very "flat", like if she had no emotions.
The teacher goes to the kitchen, where the ghost Kayako is located, sit on a chair. Kayako starts to sing a melody, very softly. And then she stops singing. When the teacher finally reaches the kitchen to check whats wrong, Kayako is staring at her, not in a kind way, and she draws some circles with a pencil on her notebook, she draws it so hard that the pages of the notebook start to get damaged and fall off, and she keeps drawing those circles, stronger and stronger, until the whole notebook gets damaged, all that while staring at the teacher. The teacher then gets scared and leaves the house. Not knowing yet that she's a ghost, the teacher starts to think that that woman has serious psychological disorders, thus why she acts very strange and eerie-like. But the truth is weirder and scarier than that.
Even with this scene only, we expect the movie to be very scary! and the whole movie is definetely scary too, since I watched it. Every scene is spooky, especially when the ghost of Kayako is around. And the scary feeling and suspense is increasing and increasing , build ups through the movie. This movie is very good in my opinion, very scary, another good asian horror movie to add to my collection!
